Male Hormone Imbalance

According to statistics, eighty percent of women suffer from some kind of hormonal imbalance, which results in a mix of health challenges both physical and mental. Unfortunately, their symptoms are overlooked. Women are often told its just because they are getting older, they are depressed, they are a mother, or they are stressed. They are often told they are “fine.” Or worse off they are put on prescription medications for depression and anxiety or another medication they don’t need.

Perimenopause can begin as early as a woman’s 30’s. And here’s the kicker-hormone imbalance typically occurs several years before symptoms appear.

Symptoms of female hormone imbalance can include:

  • Anxiety
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Low libido
  • Weight gain
  • Difficulty losing weight
  • Insomnia
  • Fatigue
  • General aches and pains
  • Heart Palpitations
  • Breast swelling
  • Breast tenderness
  • Increased infections
  • Depression
  • Fuzzy thinking
  • Memory loss

  • Incontinence
  • Dry skin
  • Hair thinning or Hair loss

  • ears

Low testosterone and hormone imbalance is a common occurrence for men as they age. In fact, once a man turns 35, he may expect to experience a gradual decline in testosterone production – also known as Andropause – at a rate of up to 10 percent loss in production per year.

In recent studies, age-related testosterone decline was associated with Cardiovascular disease, Diabetes, Alzheimer’s and 50 % increase in mortality over a seven-year time period.

Men usually don’t seek help until a noticeable decline in libido. However, low testosterone can be present quite sometime before and present itself in the following symptoms.

  • Fatigue, lethargy, and lack of motivation.
  • Mood swings, anxiety, and depression.
  • A decline in general well-being.
  • Feeling burned out and past your prime.
  • Inability to focus and remember things.

PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS:

  • Stubborn belly fat, weight gain, and food cravings.
  • Loss of muscle strength.
  • Muscle aches, joint pain and longer recovery time from injuries.
  • Frequent illnesses.
  • Excessive sweating.
